"This might be interesting" The proctors whispered to eachother. The most exciting fight had came and the proctors were excited, "The Knight Excel enters the ring for one last time! And it is the runt's fight too!" the strong man entered the ring. "Goji wish me luck!" Kai yelled. He walked slowly into the ring

Goji sat on the bench beside Natsumi and Blu, he had lost and not earned his licence but he didn't seem bummed out at all "go get um" he said somewhat enthusiasticly

"Bring it CANDLE!" Kai yelled happily. He grabbed his bat and looked at the swords on Excel's belt. "That's a pretty stick little boy," the candle man taunted. "Goji! Can I kill him?" Kai yelled, but this time he was mad.

"I'll beat you to death!!!" Kai screamed, and then some words came out of his mouth that were rather shocking. Awe filled the room, and no one made a sound. "Ummm...." Excel said nervously.

"You sure do hate me don't you?" Excel asked while drawing his sword. Swiftly he threw three stabs at Kai, who barely dodged each one by jumping back. Kai responded with a strike from his bat coming from the left but excel drew his other sword. In a flash of the eye, the bat's head was lopped off. Kai threw a punch, but Excel stepped into his ankle tripping him. Kai got up quickly and threw a right hook at Excel. Excel ducked, but was punched in the face by a straight he didn't see.

Excel laughed while blood trickled down his face. He was busy in his own little world for a few seconds, but snapped back. He threw his longsword at Kai, who ducked as the blade flew past. Then he was barraged by a bunch of stabs around his arms and legs. Kai lay limp on the ground, as Excel grabbed his other sword. Kai got up fighting threw the pain, and attacked again.

Excel saw Kai coming and backed away, into a guarding stance. "You're really persistant." Excel laughed, while licking up his own blood. "SHUT UUUUUUUUUUUP!!!!!" Kai yelled as he dived at Excel's leg with a sweep. Excel countered with a jab, stabbing throw Kai's foot. Kai smiled, even though the pain was immense, and started blasting Excel in the chest, ((I will edit to include this move later, it's called castling, rook shield)) Kai had hit him about twenty times, and his knuckles were grossly disfigured.

Excel's sword was stuck in Kai's foot and he twisted. The tip of the blade snapped off, sticking into Kai's foot. Excel then shoved Kai away, and put away his rapier. "Time for some fun!" He yelled, charging at Kai. He jumped and stabbed at Kai's head, but Kaiser easily avoided the blade, only to be hit in the head with a large metal leg. Kai went flying and got up. "Goji, he's pretty tough," Kai moaned in pain.

This was geting particularly grusome "who the h3ll said you needed to get this hurt, conced before you die!" he knew full well Kai would not listen, he just did not want to feel responsible for his death if that hapane, because kai seemed to be calling him for everything whihc Goji realy disliked

"NOOOOOOOO!" Kai yelled, while crawling on the ground. "You're weak, just like the others" Excel said. Kai was tired and weak, but he would not give up. Excel grabbed his longsword, and placed it at his neck. He pulled his hand back and sent the blade down. Before it could come down, Kai caught it with his hands. Blood dripped onto the blade, and Kai threw it away.

Kai got serious, because his life was on the line. He looked around, and everything seemed to slow down. He jumped into the air and, very dramatically, flew toward Excel as he pulled his arm back. He swung and hit Excel in the face. His hat flew off, and lit the barrel on his back. Excel stood perfectly still, because he knew what would happen next. "till next time kid,"

"that guy..." said Goji frustrated "dose he even care if he dies?" Natsumi was drinking some tea seemingly not paying attention to the fight "he puts himself in harms way just as much as his enemies, some would call that determination..." Goji leaned forward "I call it stupid"

Kai got up to shake Excel's hand, because it was proper. Before he could the barrel exploded, smoke covered the area. The brief noise of footsteps was heard, and on the ground Kai found a sign that said, "Learn nen, then we'll fight again"

"and thaaaats it folks! this years winners and newly appointed hunters are as follows, pleas step forward and claim your licence!" everyone stood ready "Kaiser Leith! Bludan Remmis!, Natsumi Ko! Giblian Cole! and The knight Excel who has already taken his license and left the premises, the rest of you may collect your license now!"

Kai grabbed his license, but cut his finger on it. He was bleeding, and passed out from previous blood loss.,

Natsumi held her licence in her hand, this was the fruits of years of training, she suddenly did not feel like selling it as she had wanted to do before.

Giblian clutched the rectangular licence in his hands and looked around nervously before running away laughing.

Goji could not help to be a little bumed out, he sait alone at the afterparty but was trying not to be depressed because he knew he would pass next time with the help of the training Natsumi promised

((SORRY! i was really busy yesterday and couldnt get on, nice fight though, i think you did a better job then i would have done))

Blu held his license in his hand staring at it. now i can find my familie's master and bring them to justice One of the proctors came over to Blu, reaching to put his hand on Blu's shoulder. "DON"T TOUCH ME!" blu screamed as his legs buckled in an automatice reaction to avoid being touched. he then scooted away on the ground, bats drawn and swinging blindly at the man. "Hmm. interesting" the proctor said as he walked away. Blu got up shouting after the man "Whats interesting? what is it? tell me!"
